This 1987 vintage of Alexander Murray cask strength Highland single malt whisky was finished in Oloroso Sherry casks, giving it both richness and a supple texture in addition to the complexity of almost four decades in oak. Flavors of toffee, candied nuts, dried fruits, and dark cacao permeate the palate with a concentrated intensity at a cask strength 44.1% ABV. With no water added and zero chill-filtering, this incredibly mature malt whisky is presented in its purest possible essence.
