The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Clos de la Chapelle 1er Cru Blanc is the third release from Vougeraie. There is a light flor-like scent on the nose that actually lends this more complexity as touches of orange rind develop with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a slightly creamy texture and fine acidity, quite generous with Clementine and pear toward the finish. This will be irresistible in its youth.
