1999 Noble Champagne Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs

Bright gold. Vibrant citrus and orchard fruits on the potent minerally, floral nose. Intense tangerine and bitter pear skin flavors are sweetened by a suave note of honey and sharpened by a chalky mineral nuance. Closes taut, spicy and very long, with resonating minerality and impressive focus. This Champagne seems to actually be tightening up as it gets more bottle age.
