Some say 1995 is better than 1996, and this is a fine example. Perfumed aromas of sliced apples, pears and pie crust with full body and a layered palate that shows wonderful depth and freshness. Extremely long and structured with a finish of candied apples, caramel and bread dough. 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir. Disgorged April 2022. Drink now.
