Cherries and vanilla persist through an alcohol aroma on the nose of this wine. That alcoholic heat is well integrated into a weighty body with smooth, close-grained tannins. Cherry and pomegranate flavors are restrained, bolstered by a pleasant reedy quality into a long finish.
