Tongue-tingling spice with nutmeg and pepper. Very full and bold in the mouth with juicy notes of apples and macerated raisins/sultanas. Feisty, yet well-integrated tannins. Complex aromas that are big and bold. Overriding peppery note on the very long, persistent finish that explodes on the palate and gives way to a hint of dryness.
