98-100 POINTS: Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2025 Figeac prances out of the glass with a flamboyant perfume of candied violets, black raspberries, star anise, dark chocolate, and mossy bark, opening out to a profound core of mulberries, cassis, and juicy blueberries. The medium-bodied palate shimmers with a mesmerizing array of perfumed black and blue fruit, framed by very firm, fine-grained tannins and amazing tension, finishing very long with a firework display of mineral and floral sparks. The blend is 38% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 32% Cabernet Sauvignon. The yield is 25 hl/ha. The alcohol level is 13% with a pH of 3.64.
