2024 GAJA Gaia & Rey Chardonnay

94-97 POINTS: Entirely Chardonnay and not yet bottled when I tasted it, the 2024 Gaia & Rey was scheduled to be bottled in March 2026 and released in June. The 2024 pours a hazy bright yellow hue and reveals tropical and mineral-driven aromas of white peach, lime, fresh flowers, and salty earth. Medium-bodied, it offers refreshing acidity and a bright mineral finish, with a nimble freshness that never turns green. The influence of wood is less pronounced in this vintage, with less toast and more clarity of fruit.
