The 2024 Gewurztraminer Furstentum Grand Cru is fragrant from the off with whiffs of Damask rose and Turkish delight. The palate strikes a gentler note of bright freshness, almost of lightness and poetic florality. A lovely note of blood orange sets an aromatic highlight while candied orange peel provides a smooth, tangy base. Despite all these flavors, the residual sugar clocks in at just 13 grams per litre, making this a vividly fresh proposition with such scented length.
