2022 Domaine de Montille Beaune 1er Cru Les Sizies

The 2022 Beaune Les Sizies 1er Cru has a feisty nose, perhaps with just a touch more VA than other cuvées, though nothing to get worried about. Raspberry and red cherry fruit. The palate is well-balanced, the one-third whole clusters neatly integrated, medium-bodied with a mixture of two-thirds black and one-third red fruit. It is quite structured towards the Pommard-like finish. Give it a couple of years in bottle.
