2020 Valdicava Brunello Riserva Madonna del Piano

A super-complex wine with aromas of spices, dried cherries, wild strawberries, potpourri, orange zest, smoky wood and earth. Full-bodied with velvety tannins. Energy and graceful harmony in the aftertaste, with a savory hint of black olives. Almost drinkable now, but best from 2027.
