2018 Perez Pascuas Gran Seleccion Gran Reserva

Spain > Ribera del Duero
Pre-Arrival: Fall 2026
The 2018 Pérez Pascuas Gran Selección Gran Reserva, sourced from their oldest vines (80+ years old), is a selection of the best eight barrels from the vintage after the wine aged in French and American oak barrels for 26 months. The bottles were held for at least 36 months. It comes in at 14.9% alcohol with a pH of 3.54 and 5.4 grams of acidity. This is very spicy and perfumed, with notes of vanilla and even a touch of coconut, earth, dry leaves and a touch of soy sauce. It's medium- to full-bodied, with slightly dusty tannins. It's aging nicely and should continue for a long time, making a classical Ribera del Duero bottle. 2,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2021.
