1985 Ducru-Beaucaillou

93 POINTS: 1985 Ducru-Beaucaillou has always been a nice glass of wine but this particular bottle is by far the best example I have come across. The nose is fresh and clear, elegant, silky and filled with soft, mature fruit and a hint of tobacco leaves. The freshness and elegance continue in the taste that displays soft mature tannins and a very insisting cassis-like element at the end. This wine is drinking very well and should be enjoyed now as it is on top.
