Our Tasting Notes: At our recent tasting, La Grande Dame more than lived up to our high expectations, from the intense and powerful nose to the almost creamy richness on the palate to the enlivening note of acidity to the exceptionally long, smooth finish. The Brut Rosé subtly echoed it, adding a sophisticated floral note and delicate hints of strawberry and rose petal. Exquisite.
What to Pair Them With: La Grande Dame begs for oysters of any kind; salmon mousse; shrimp salad, and even lobster rolls. The Brut Rosé will find alchemy with nearly any kind of salad, particularly a caprese or a watermelon-feta-and-mint, and is a nimble dance partner for omelets, quiches, roast chicken, and sushi.

Fun Fact: Last year, Veuve Clicquot celebrated its 250th anniversary, making it four years older than the United States. In the 94th year of its existence, when its founder, Madame Clicquot, died, it was selling 750,000 bottles annually.
