VALDICAVA

2013 Brunello di Montalcino, 2012 Madonna del Piano Brunello di Montalcino Riserva

TUSCANY, ITALY

Boasting three 100-point wines in the past two decades (2001, 2006 and 2010), the wines of Valdicava are a rich, concentrated and dazzling display of the power and greatness of Brunello di Montalcino. With grapes that were originally sold to the iconic Biondi Santi, the wines are renowned for their bold and brooding style, possessing a richness and depth of fruit with the potential to age for decades. Today we are thrilled to offer their highly-anticipated releases of the 2013 Brunello di Montalcino and the 2012 'Madonna del Piano' Brunello di Montalcino Riserva.

Easily one of Italy's top producers, today's offer includes both 750ml and 1.5L bottles of the 98-Point 2013 Brunello di Montalcino along with their 2012 'Madonna del Piano' Brunello Riserva (Montalcino's first single vineyard). Named No. 6 on James Suckling's list of 12 best Collectible Tuscan Wines, the name has become synonymous with Brunello and their "single vineyard Brunello di Montalcino Madonna del Piano is one of the great wines of Tuscany, if not Italy" (James Suckling). With the 2010 Madonna del Piano garnering 100-points from James Suckling, we have no doubt the 2012 will reach critical acclaim once his scores are released. But until then, we're able to offer this stunning flagship at the lowest price in the country!  Only produced in the best vintages, the 2012 Madonna del Piano is a must for any collector. As these wines are extremely limited in quantity and highly allocated, we suggest securing your orders quickly before they sell out!
