THE STORY: Sometimes a brush with mortality changes everything. When Jayson Woodbridge beat cancer at age 18, his perspective on life shifted permanently: suddenly, nothing short of excellence would suffice. The former investment banker from Toronto became a self-taught winemaker whose perfectionism borders on the obsessive, but in the best possible way. He employs two professional chefs just to cook for his family and team because, in his words, everything in life should be "at least excellent."
