HARDY, NOCES D'ARGENT

COGNAC, FRANCE

When it comes to sophistication and class, the reputation of Cognac is unrivaled among spirits. Even with the rise of whiskey over the last decade, Cognac's allure is unrelenting. As tastes evolve, it is the art of blending, mastered over hundreds of years, that consistently sets Cognac apart - contributing to its singularity and prestige - and keeps demand at a premium. Yet one Cognac house stands head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to producing more than just a status symbol – they produce works of art. Like the exclusive, custom-created designs of Chanel, Versace and Valentino, the house of Hardy produces one-of-a-kind bottlings that truly embody haute couture, a concept usually associated with visionary, high-end fashion. Considering the amount of time, skill and money allotted to complete each bottle from Hardy’s ‘Seasons’ line (which runs upwards of $15,000), these bottles are priceless. The family-owned Cognac house of Hardy is committed to uniqueness with style - elevating their Cognacs to one-of-a-kind collectibles. Today we have one such Cognac from their illustrious Anniversary Series. From a blend of their top Fine Champagne Cognac barrels, their Noces d'Argent is aged for a minimum of 25 years. Furthermore, for this Concierge-only offer, our 300-bottle allocation will be signed by the owner herself, Benedicte Hardy - making this a serious value at under $175 a bottle and a must-have for any collector.

Founder Anthony Hardy was an English wine and spirit merchant who fell in love with France, moving there permanently in 1863 and establishing his own Cognac house, adopting the French rooster as its symbol. Quickly recognized for their quality, Hardy's reputation over the years expanded, with the company passing to each successive generation. What has truly set the house of Hardy apart since is its commitment to ultimate luxury and singularity, including collaborations with renowned glassmakers Cristallerie Daum and Maison Lalique, whose partnerships have produced an impressive array of limited bottlings. From their limited collections, such as their special Lalique Carafes inspired by the seasons to their Anniversary Series which began in 1961, Hardy has become an icon for connoisseurs around the world. Today the founder's great-great-granddaughter, Benedicte, represents the fifth generation of the family brand and continues its elite reputation for producing true works of art.

With the Anniversary Series, blends are aged for twenty-five, thirty, fifty, sixty years and more, embodying the emotion of times past. The Noces d'Argent, or "Silver Anniversary," is a blend of 30 different eaux-de-vie that have been aged for a minimum of 25 years, well beyond the minimum of the rigorous standards set for an XO. Using only grapes from Grande and Petite Champagne, two of Cognac's most prestigious crus whose vineyards each account for less than 1.5% of the region, this is the newest addition to the Series. Distinguished and decadent, the Cognac boasts rich aromas of raisins and tobacco, with flavors of honey, hazelnut and spices. Round and lush on the palate with a long, outstanding finish, this is pure hedonism at its best. Sporting a luxurious case to protect the carafe, Benedicte has signed 300 bottles for our offer today. With such limited quantities, we encourage you to secure your orders before we sell out!
