WHY BUY: We're thrilled to be able to bring you early access to an incredibly special release: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 Takashi Murakami Limited Edition, from their acclaimed Art Series, with a luminous bottle design by the celebrated Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. When it comes to Champagne, few names command the rarefied air of Dom Pérignon, a wine that turns every conversation into a party. And this bottling, of the 96-point 2015 vintage, a genuine collector's vintage that amounts to a double conversation piece, both a great bottle of bubbly and a striking collectible.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: In his 96-point review on Vinous, Antonio Galloni swooned over the 2015 vintage of Dom Pérignon, a "bright and poised” wine, with "terrific energy," "gorgeous tension," and a backbone that supports "bright saline notes" that linger on the finish.

THE STORY: At the heart of this captivating collaboration is the unwavering dedication of the House of Dom Pérignon. For decades, this iconic Champagne house has been synonymous with excellence, continually pushing against the boundaries of what's possible with their coveted vintage-only releases. Under the visionary leadership of Geoffroy, who led the brand's rejuvenation in the early 2000s, Dom Pérignon forged a reputation for artistic collaboration that was as bold as the wines themselves. From filmmakers to sculptors, singers to designers, the house has united its uncompromising standards with the creative genius of some of the world's most renowned artists. Far from settling into a kind of golden-age complacency, it has opted for the other, bolder direction, pushing itself to evolve and experiment ... and to not just take part in the conversation, but even, sometimes, to lead it.

OUR TASTING NOTES: An aromatic marvel, it opens with an energetic swirl of citrus, white flowers, and a hint of toasted brioche, which then gives ground to  notes of cocoa, lime blossom, jasmine, aniseed and cardamom — an evocative cavalcade of associations that hints at the depth and complexity to come. On the palate, it's a virtuoso display of Champagne's duality, a symphony of tension and grace. Vibrant acidity provides the foundation, while layers of ripe orchard fruit, crushed minerals, and just a hint of spice build and build in intensity. The finish lingers, all but begging you to take another sip.

THE SPECS: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 — Takashi Murakami Limited Edition represents the culmination of the house's meticulous attention to detail from grape to glass. The blend harmonizes Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in proportions that remain a closely guarded secret, sourced from the house's most prestigious vineyard sites. As for the bottle design: Murakami has come up with a work of art that more than complements the Champagne — it goes one better, and mirrors its vibrant and lively character.

FUN FACT: When it came time to select the wine for Lady Diana's wedding to Prince Charles, only one estate would do: Dom Pérignon.

OUR GUARANTEE: As always, we only buy and ship directly from the estate, to ensure pristine provenance. Secure your piece of history today!
