CHÂTEAU CHEVAL BLANC
LE PETIT CHEVAL BORDEAUX BLANC
SAINT-ÉMILION, BORDEAUX, FRANCE
Why Buy: From the legendary Château Cheval Blanc comes the newly released 97-point, 2023 Le Petit Cheval Blanc, which Decanter declared is “the most impressive” vintage since 2018. The world-famous estate first introduced their white wine in 2014 and it has become one of the most sought-after whites in Bordeaux, highly coveted by collectors in every vintage since. Don’t miss this opportunity for early access to this Bordeaux gem—our allocation is limited!
The Story: Château Cheval Blanc, which translates to ‘white horse,’ has a long, illustrious history in Saint Emilion that is traced back to 1832. Château Cheval Blanc was purchased in 1998 by LVMH, and legendary Bordeaux winemaker Pierre Lurton was hired to manage the property for them as well as their most famous and revered White Bordeaux estate, Château d’Yquem. In 2014 Le Petit Cheval Blanc was born: initially the wine 100% Sauvignon Blanc, but recent vintages have seen the introduction of Sémillon blended in to offer a classic dry Bordeaux Blanc blend. This is not a second wine, but a singular expression of a dedicated vineyard—crafted with the same precision and vision that define Cheval Blanc itself.
