61.2% ABV. 1st fill Sherry Butt. An intriguing combination of sweet damson plums and poached pears in liqourice root syrup, rounded off by a burst of fresh citrus orange and cinnamon baked rhubarb. A medley of warming ginger spice and dried fruit flavors of tasty raisins and sultanas is perfectly balanced with rich treacle toffee, sweet marzipan and enhanced by a gentle hint of dark chocolate with lively lemon peel. Finish is long and slightly dry, with a lingering trace of toasted almonds.
