Scotland and Portugal enjoy a shared history. William Graham founded his company in Glasgow, 1784, and later would take twenty-seven pipes of Portuguese Port wine, as payment in place of a debt. Today The Dalmore’s whisky makers make the journey here to hand-select very rare Port pipes, perfect for their whisky making artistry. The tradition was established by Master Distiller Richard Paterson OBE who first visited here from his native Glasgow in the 1970s. Today The Dalmore’s whisky makers continue this tradition in a partnership that has flourished through the years. The Dalmore
