El Tequileño Limited Edition Reposado Rare Tequila

This limited edition spirit is aged in a large American oak barrel known as a pipon. The barrels hold up to 23,000 liters of the tequila, where it’s aged for six years. The timeline gives it the depth of an Extra Añejo, but since Mexican law states that those can only be aged in barrels of 600 liters or less (for a minimum of three years), the luxury creation was dubbed Reposado Rare. Notes of vanilla, honey and a subtle touch of black pepper and cooked agave on the nose, and hints of marzipan, sweet agave and oak on the palate.
