97 POINTS: In comparison to the Colson Canyon Syrah release, the 2022 P2KV Colson Canyon Vineyard is slightly darker slanted, with blackberries, black pepper, roasted meats, game, and spring flower nuances, and I wouldn't hold it against anyone for calling this a Côte Rôtie in a blind tasting. With full-bodied richness, a layered, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and one hell of a great finish, it needs to be hidden in the cellar for 4-5 years and will evolve gracefully over the following 15+. It's a riveting 2022. The blend is 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache, from vines planted in 1997, aged, I believe, in mostly used barrels.Jeb Dunnuck, jebdunnuck.com
