Royal Cane Cask Company Trinidad 17 Year 2006 Single Cask Rum

A bright, fruity and spicy nose with hints of cinnamon, vanilla, clove, banana, and pear. The texture is mouthfilling with a pleasantly dry grip from barrel tannins. It’s punchy and flavorful on the palate with obvious notes of overripe tropical fruits, toffee, manuka honey and lots of baking spice. The interplay of jammy fruit and spicy oak continues well into the long finish, which lingers on danish pastry.
