Rare Character Exceptional Series 2011 Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey

This whiskey is a sour mash with a bourbon backset. It was not distilled at more than 165 proof and went into the barrel at no more than 125 proof. This whiskey was aged in a new barrel. The mash bill is 65 percent malted barley 35 percent corn, making it a Kentucky Straight Malt that drinks similar to a bourbon. This whiskey has never been seen before, and will never be distilled again – when it’s gone, it’s gone.
