Nikka Whisky Taketsuru 21-Year Pure Malt

This blended malt whisky has a nose that is instantly recognizable as a well-matured whisky. There is both the richness of ripe fruit and cask, and the complex flavors will change its character as the finish approaches. A combination of whisky from both Nikka distilleries: Yoichi & Miyagikyo. Matured primarily in sherry butts along with bourbon barrels. Named after Masataka Taketsuru, who is considered to be the father of Japanese whisky. One of the oldest expressions in the Taketsuru range of whiskies.
