Invergordon 30 Year Barrel Select Single Grain Scotch Whisky

Notes of lemon meringue pie drizzled with vanilla cream bound out of the glass while an undercurrent of toasted hazelnuts compliment hints of lime zest. Initially the whisky feels sprightly with flavors of peach and nectarine while, with time, vanilla and almond build and are offset by light black and orange oil. The citrus notes carry some lovely light spice and walnut skin for a lengthy, but subtle finish.
