During the barrel mellowing, our storied tequila naturally mingles with the deliciously light essence of Sevilla orange peels and Oloroso Sherry, creating a perfect balance of flavors. Honeyed agave with a hint of spice melds with fresh orange zest to create a complex but surprisingly approachable tequila. Master Distiller and team have taken Don Julio’s renowned reposado tequila and finished it in casks which previously held orange wine from Southern Spain, a wine that was aged in Oloroso Sherry Casks.
