2016 Carlo Revello & Figli Barolo Riserva 'Rocche dell'Annunziata'

Here's a new submission from Carlo Revello & Figli in a fun, retro-looking bottle. The 2016 Barolo Riserva Rocche dell'Annunziata is a wine of bold intensity and power, almost too much. It registers 15% alcohol, which leaves its mark with aromas of candied raspberry and cherry liqueur. There are sweet or candied aromas for sure, but the wine tapers out on the palate, delivering a more elegant and linear experience instead.
