Berry Bros. & Rudd Glentauchers 21 Year

Glentauchers distillery is a short drive from Keith, Banffshire. Its history can be traced back to 1898 when the founders chose the location at Tauchers Farm for easy access to the road and rail systems. The distillery was largely silent between 1983 and 1992. The aromas immediately confirm that this Whisky was matured in a bourbon barrel as butter and vanilla notes come to the fore. Lemon and lime citrus add interest. The palate is soft and delicate but with rich bursts of fruit and the most gentle dusting of peat.
