Berry Bros & Rudd Cameronbridge 37-Year 1984

This sophisticated old grain whisky eases out of the glass with aromas of dark chocolate, desiccated cocoanut and bruised bananas, though with time some heavier fruity notes emerge also. The palate is unexpectedly viscous with similar flavours to the nose developing into gorse flower and tobacco leaves. Atypically for a grain this dram has a lasting finishing with waves of oak spice and coca powder mingling on the back palate.
