2024 Tensley Colson Canyon Syrah

96 POINTS: A brilliant, perfumed Syrah, the 2024 Syrah Colson Canyon Vineyard is still a baby with a youthful, vivid purple hue. The nose is incredibly pretty, showing juicy red and blue fruits supported by classic Syrah pepper, violets, iris, and bouquet garni-like nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a fresh, focused, elegant mouthfeel, juicy acidity, and ripe, polished tannins. Aged in roughly 20% new French oak, it's another classic, oh, so good Syrah from this site that can be drunk any time over the coming 25-30 years or more. Drink 2026-2056.
