2024 Tensley B.M.T Syrah (1.5L)

98 POINTS: A blend of 50% Syrah from Rodney's Vineyard (a single parcel on the upper plateau) with the rest from Colson Canyon Vineyard (25% Syrah and 25% Grenache from the lower parcel), the 2024 BMT was fermented with 25% stems and aged a year in neutral barrels. Very youthful, with juicy red and blue fruit, rosemary, black pepper, and violets, it's medium to full-bodied, balanced, and concentrated, showing the classy, elegant style this cuvée is known for. It offers pleasure today yet won't hit maturity for another decade, and it will cruise for 25-30 years. Drink 2026-2056.
