2023 GAJA Darmagi Cabernet Sauvignon

95-98 POINTS: Made from Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2023 Darmagi was tasted as a preview and will be bottled in April 2026. It pours a saturated purple color and reveals aromas of blackberries, fresh herbs, sweet sage, violets, and mineral earth. Full-bodied yet remarkably light on its feet, it carries refined tannins and balanced acidity. Raised for about 12 months in small cask with roughly 30 percent new oak, the wine shows impressive mineral depth and freshness.
