2023 Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin Petit Chablis

91 POINTS: This delicate pale lemon-yellow wine seduces with pronounced aromas of nectarine and white peach edged with orange blossom notes. The texture is ethereal and delicate; the crisp acidity brings balance and elegance to this eminently drinkable wine. The grapes are made from 1.85ha from the high-elevation lieu-dit Sur Les Clos, although this does not appear on the label. They are fermented and briefly aged in tank, producing a wine perfect for current consumption.
