2023 Domaine Jean-Paul & Benoît Droin Chablis 1er Cru Vosgros

93 POINTS: Benoît Droin's Vosgros is a delightful success this year because of its particularly refreshing aromas of green apple, lime peel and white blossoms. The texture is lively with acidity, yet there is enough substance here to linger pleasantly on the finish. The grapes are from two plots totalling 0.59ha in a cool corner of this site on the left bank of the Serein, exposed to the morning sun facing southeast; Droin ferments and ages them exclusively in tank to preserve the fresh fruit character.
