2023 Domaine des Lambrays Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts

The 2023 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru, which comes from the upper part of the climat, includes 40% whole bunch. It has a beautifully pure bouquet with dark cherries, blueberries and violet scents—quintessentially Vosne-Romanée. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. It is more complex than the 2022, with graphite and hints of marmalade toward the weighty finish. This is excellent and will meliorate in bottle.
