2023 Albert Bichot Chablis Domaine Long-Depaquit Grand Cru Les Clos

Rich and really well-structured with excellent stony freshness, this chardonnay has an exciting energy. The interplay of fine tannins, minerality and restrained creaminess gives this excellent textural complexity. There’s a touch of mini-banana character but no hint of opulence in the very clean, straight finish. 75% fermented and matured in stainless steel and 25% in used oak casks. Sustainable. Drink or hold.
