2022 Vincent Girardin Meursault 1er Cru 'Les Perrières'

The 2022 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a rich bouquet with yellow fruit, candle wax and light brioche scents, though I would have preferred more stony elements/mineralité. The palate is well-balanced with a slightly creamy entry: brioche, white peach and orange pith vie for attention. A hint of coconut and vanilla renders the finish quite seductive. A very good Meursault rather than a scintillating Perrières.
