2022 Vincent Girardin Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru

The 2022 Corton-Charlemagne "Quintessence" Grand Cru comes from a parcel close to the cross. The marine-influenced bouquet has touches of sea spray and estuarine scents, lemon sherbet and orange zest aromas developing in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with a finely tuned entry, citrus peel and orange rind, lightly spiced with a somewhat conservative but lengthy finish.
