93 POINTS: There are only 13 producers of the rare Nas-cëtta del Comune di Novello, but Valter Fissore tells me that demand is growing and so he is planting three more hectares. Vinified and matured half in stainless steel and half in Slavonian oak casks, with select indigenous yeasts and no malo, this is waxy and smoky, with a delightful apricot scent. Textured, juicy and sapid, it combines flavours of apple and lime with a mineral tang on the mid-palate. A gastronomic wine that offers plenty of complexity in the future.
