95 POINTS: Rioja-based winemaker Eduardo Eguren makes this superb Ribera del Duero at Marta Maté, pairing components from the villages of Anguix, Gumiel de Mercado, Quintanamanvirgo, Pedrosa and Tórtoles de Esgueva. Sensitively wooded in 30% new oak, it's a delicious pan- regional red with thyme, rosemary and sweet spice perfume, impressive structure and backbone, lots of minerality and focus and layers of dark berry fruit.
