2021 Benanti Etna Bianco

Woodsmoke and burning leaves flicker on the nose before darker peach notes, pennies, soil and the perfume of bergamot emerge. The palate is alive with an almost Sichuan peppercorn-style buzz, then lemons and peaches and finally more smokiness. Mouth coating but still restrained and delicate.
