2020 Domaine Grosbois Chinon Clos du Noyer

The 2020 Clos du Noyer has an intriguing and slightly untamed nose - in a good way. It's reminiscent of wild herbs and wormwood alongside its succulent red fruit flavors and light floral note. As always at Grosbois, the tannins are well handled - coating the palate with chocolate powder-like texture. It's very satisfying. Can be enjoyed now but has the fruit depth and tannic substance to go on.
