2020 Domaine de la Presidente Chateauneuf-du-Pape

90-92 Points: Clearly the standout in the lineup, the 2020 Châteauneuf Du Pape Grands Classiques checks in as 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, and 5% each of Cinsault and Mourvèdre, all of which was destemmed and is still aging mostly in tank (the Syrah is aged in barrels). Lots of darker berry fruits, peppery garrigue, and a touch of tapenade give way to a medium to full-bodied tank sample that has notable purity, outstanding balance, and a great finish.
