2019 Trecciano Daniello

Lots of ripe plum and berry aromas and flavors to this, together with plum-skin that stains the oaky tannins on the medium-bodied palate. Very intense, with a bright, driven core of fresh plum and oak that gives a long but tight finish. It’s fun to taste, but it’s a little tensed-up at the moment. Give it a year to mellow. Should be in good shape for drinking by 2023.
