2019 Edouard Delaunay 'Septembre' Bourgogne Chardonnay

Gorgeous pale yellow in colour with nice fluidity. The first nose is extremely complex, boasting slight minerality with a hint of gunflint followed by scents of yellow fruit (greengage plum, pear), yellow flowers and pollen. Appealing round start to the palate, rich and fresh with pleasing tautness. Fresh nuances of lemon verbena and lemon. This is a complex, expressive, refreshing wine with exceptionally well-integrated oak and a finish reminiscent of candied lemon.
