2019 François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Champs-Gain'

Mid yellow, the nose is really fine with plenty of weight behind, but not heat. François notes that Champ-Gain does well in hot years except 2003, and maybe 2020, but suffers in the difficult years like ‘04 and ‘07. Much richer behind with a little bit of peach.
