2019 François Carillon Puligny-Montrachet

Produced from 5ha, usually across 8 lieux-dits, only Les Levrons has been pulled out for replanting. Pale lemon, with impressive finesse to the nose, everything in place, no heat burst, but an additional weight of fruit at the back, plums and pears, not peaches, maybe ripe apples, and a very long finish on the whiter elements of the fruit. Excellent tension to finish.
