2019 Edouard Delaunay Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Perrieres

Hints of truffle and violet petals perfume bright, penetrating blackberry and cherry flavors here. While richly concentrated and firm in structure, it's a wine with considerable finesse and sensuality too. Fine-grained but rigid tannins are tightly wound in youth, but it should hit peak from 2024 and drink gorgeously well through 2040.
